Do I need a comma here?

Hi, your 'theory' on life had too many holes to be taken seriously, which is why everybody attacked you, with the hopes that you would think a little harder before posting such a vapid 'theory'. I would omit the second comma and use a pronoun instead of repeating the noun 'theory'. If you'll permit me to comment, you are concerned about commas but you do not seem to be concerned about capital letters.
