Do and Does

How do I explain to students when to use DO and when to use DOES?

It depends on the "person" of the verb. First person (I, we) is always "do" Second person (you) is always "do" Third person singular (he, she, it) is always "does" Third person plural (they) is always "do" Hope that helps!

Yes I think haogide is right. but I hear some people still say " he don't want to go"... or "she don't know." How can it be? Some even add the word "no" to the sentense like: "He don't want no trouble." the word don't or doesn't already expresses a negative statement. isn't it extra to add the "no"?

1. Set a goal to eat fast food no more than once each week.
2. Set a goal to eat no more food.

I'd say 'food no more' can not stand along, whereas 'no more food' can. What do you think?
