Do all these expressions mean the same?

And are they correctly constructed?

1) It sends me shivers down my spine.
2) It makes stand up the hair on my back.
3) It gives me goosebumps.

(1) and (2) I think are pretty interchangeable as expressions of fear or horror. (3) could be a reaction to fear, but it is also a recognized reaction to cold and to other e
