Do a good turn

What would be the opposite of the expression "do somebody good" as in "This tonic will do you a world of good"

and that of the expression "do somebody a good turn" as in "He did me a good turn" ?

Should we say "do somebody bad" and "do somebody an ill or a bad turn" ?

He did me an ill turn is a little dated now, I think, but still acceptable. For the other idiom ('do someone good'), cannot think of anything but 'This won't do you any good'.
