Divide

I want to know if we can say " something has divided to something else" or we should say "something is divided to something"

for example is my sentence below is wrong or correct?

Lesiure time in this survey had divided to six different subjects.

I think correct sentence shoul be -

"Leisure time in this survey has been divided into six different subjects."

Something can be divided into different things. For example, "The cake has been divided into six pieces."

Anything can also divide some other thing. For example, "The knife has divided the apple into two different parts."

but i thought be(am/is/ are) divided to . when we say has or have divided to or be divided to?

"divided to" isn't right (not in the sense you're using it). It should be "divided into".
