Distribute your concentration

Hi,

"Studying for too many tests can be tricky because you don't know how to 'distribute your concentration."

Could I use this if I wanted to say that when people have to prepare for too many tests in different courses (Let's say that someone has three tests in one day.), they don't always know which course they should direct most of their focus at?

Thank you.
