Emotion: surprise
in a job interview I was asked " why are you leaving your job and applying for a new one? "
And I said
It's really distant
I live in first square
And my work place is in 15th street .

I'm worried about my answer I think my answer is dead wrong

It's more natural to say simply eg "I have to travel a long way to get to work."
