Hi All the sentences are OK and express whether the person considers money to be important I wouldn't say they are idiomatic. 'To regard' means 'to watch'. So if you have a regard for your money, then you watch how much you are spending and whether you have some put aside in the bank, perhaps.

  • If you have a job in finance, then you will probably regard money because that is your profession On point of fact, I don't think a disregard for money means that you are rich or that you don't understand it's value.
  • It might mean you are moderately well off, so don't worry about it too much.

Can you use the verb form in both examples?

Could I ask if you could look at one thread for me, I need a natives opinion please?

Hi

I would say that the following examples are natural in UK English..

- I have no regard for money - personal relationships are more important to me

- He disregarded my advice - he has only himself to blame

- In my view, he regards Fred's advice too highly

- His writing shows a close regard for Schopenhauer

And, of course, it is an expression
