Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I am trying to get some feedback from the letter below. Thank you. This letter is to ensure that the above referenced account is updated as of . I spoke to Dave at GC Services (collection agency) on at regarding this matter. He stated that no payments were posted to the account and insisted that the account should be paid in full. However, I disagree due to the fact that I had already made three different payments to bring this account up-to-date. I spoke to Robin at your customer service department on at and she stated that all payments had been posted to the account. Please see below for details:
- 1st Payment – $225.39 – Transaction over the phone
- 2nd Payment - $100.00 – Electronic payment thru Bank of America
- 3rd Payment - $100.00 – North Fork Bank Check #106 via regular mail
On at Dave called again requesting the full payment. I explained to him that I had already spoken to Robin at customer service from Citi Cards, Dave stated that once Citi Cards had assigned the account to the collection agency the customer had to deal directly with GC Services. Dave requested for me to speak to GC Services’ branch manager and find the right answer. I suggested to the branch manager to have a conference call between GC Services, Citi Cards, and myself. The branch manager was very unprofessional and not helpful. I insisted on getting his name but, he refused.
I decided to contact customer service once again. I spoke to Ashley on and she confirmed that no payment was needed. I requested a written notice from her and she stated that it was not necessary.
I understand that I did not make my payments in the past in a timely fashion, but I want to resolve this situation as soon as possible. I want to able to obtain Citibank’s trust again. Please advise the collection agency to stop harassing me.
I would appreciate a correspondence in writing addressing the matter. If you would like to contact me for more information I could be reached at . Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
