Disney/Staples

Me and my bf are watching a game at the Staples Center.

My sister is at/in Disneyland.

Are at and in interchangeable?

Top answer

At the movie, at the game, at the track and at the airport..... Based on this pattern, places of entertainment, functions and events call for "at". I am sure some may say, if you are at Disneyland, aren't you "in" it?

  • I won't go as far as validating the interchangeabliltiy, but my ears tell me "at" is the preferred one.

I prefer "at" in both your examples. But the first sentence should be "My boyfriend and I..."
