Dislike - Hate - Emotions?

Hi

I just read on one website that dislike is not an emotion but hate is.

I'd like to understand how this is possible when both words are feelings of the mind and synonyms as well.

Please help.

Thank you.

"Emotion" is a word that covers a range of feelings. Just how broad that range is is a matter of opinion. I guess I agree with your website, though.
