What are common phrases uttered when in disgust regarding someone else's behavior? I'm especially looking for phrases older, strict, conservative people might use, not phrases your friends or family might say. For example, when you deny an old lady your seat in a bus, what might she say? Or when you burp at the dinner table, what might people say?

to rude people. Instead, they believe it is best to simply ignore such people and their behaviour. It's a matter of dignity.

In my experience, older people usually won't say anything.to rude people. Instead, they believe it is best to simply ignore such people and their behaviour. It's a matter of dignity.
Is it really that uncommon? Where I'm from, when I was a child, it was quite common for older people to verbally confront rude people regarding their behavior. But I'm struggling to translate these phrases into English, so I am looking for equivalents.
They'd often give you a disdainful look, shake their head and say something like "That is brazen / blatant / outrageous / incredible". But I guess this does not translate very well.
