disguise myself in...?

Hi people!

Is it correct to say " I used to disguise myself in different costumes?" or rather "I used to disguise myself with different costumes"?

The sentence reads on: "I used to disguise myself in different costumes and hats and also put on me make up."

I'd rather say: "I used to disguise myself with different costumes and hats and also put some make-up on my face."

What do you think about the final version?

Thanks a lot!

Mara.

I don't have any idea about "disguise" (I find "in" OK, but I guess both can be right), but I'd say "... also put on some make-up".
