I got a book called colour of magic from some freaky kid named nathan (a.k.a. 666). I barely got past it's first ten pages. I don't mind the ideas expressed (eg. dicworld is on 4 elephants which is on a giant, sexless turtle that doesn't know where the **** it's going) but to have to read through such a banal book to get to it is idiocy!

I've read the five first books of the series, pure genius ! I didn't met such an imaginative wit since Tolkien (I mean... since I read Tolkien).
If I had to choose one in the series, I'd pick "Mort" where Death decides to find a new job... It could be read apart from the previous ones.
