It is difficult for high-school students to choose between continuing their education or working straight after graduating. Although there are some benefits of getting a job after school, I believe that going to the university or college is better.

On the one hand, it is undeniable that finding a job after high school brings students many advantages. Firstly, the youngsters can earn their own money from their jobs. This will help them live independently without any help from their parents. Secondly, working straight after graduating also helps young people have real experiences to accumulate valuable life lessons. In fact, effective life skills are not in books but only from our failures in lifetime.

On the other hand, I strongly believe that going to the university or college after graduating from high school is the better choice. Firstly, the students can have opportunity to get higher education. In fact, they can gain more exclusive knowledge on their field of study. Secondly, studying at university or college brings the youngsters high academic qualifications, which will help them to get high-paying jobs. The reason is that many big businesses nowadays tend to recruit the employees who have high degree such as Bachelor degree or Master’s degree.

In conclusion, even though both options have their own benefits, it seems that students who continue their study after graduating are likely to be more successful in pursuing their dream jobs.
