Is the following sentence taken from the New York Times correct? In particular, is it correct to use "discuss about"?
"On average, Keller Fay finds that people discuss about a dozen brands each day"
Thank you.
But what does "brands" mean above? What does "to discuss a dozen brands" mean? I don't understand the meaning of the sentence.

I don't think it's "discuss about". They discuss approximately 12 brands a day.
