Hi Student,
Any drug have three names;

1.Generic name - It means bio-equivalent to the brand name originals.

2.Chemical name - It is the atomic or molecular structure of the drug.
3.Brand name - This name is selected by the drug manufacturer.
We can see generic name on the strip of the drug. We can also see the brand name just below the generic name on the strip.
