Directions

Hi teachers.

Are these directions right?

According to this answer: yes, it is our appartement.

Circle the letter of the correct question.

a) Is it we apartment?

b) Is it our aparment?

c) Is it yours apartemt?

Should I use a colon or a comma after ... this 'answer'?

Should I capitalize 'yes', ... apartment or not?

Should I say ' Circle the letter of the correct 'question' or ... correct 'yes question'?

'According to' is an awkward structure here; I suggest that you simply present the response:

"Yes, it is our apartment." Circle the letter of the question below that prompts this response.

a) Is it we apartment?

b) Is it our apartment?

c) Is it yours apartment?

However, none of your 'question' answers is

Sorry. I made a mistake. Option 'b' is 'Is it your apartment?'

If I tell them that we can answer 'Yes, it is' there is no practise at all for the possessives.-- The practice here is in the questions; that is why you have wasted a chance to teach real English.
