Thank you very much Mister Micawber. Yours is much more concise than mine.

What about this one?
Then for the same idea for yes questions, the directions should be:
We use these yes questions to corroborate the name of an object or an animal in singular and plural.

Is this a pen? Yes, it is.
Is it a pen? Yes, it is.

Are these pens? Yes, they are

You should teach both affirmative and negative together, TS:

We use these yes/no questions to confirm or refute the name of an object or an animal in singular and plural.

Is this a pen? Yes, it is. No, it isn't. No, it's not.

Is it a pen? Yes, it is. No, it isn't. No, it's not.

Are these pens? Yes, they are. No, they're not.

Well I've got them in 2 different pages. If you want I can send them via email to you.
I have written the beginners level myself through the years, 18 actually.

Thanks a lot once again. You're always a great help.

Sorry one more Mister Micawber. Instead of 'refute' can I use 'negate'?

I was not at my own computer when I chose 'refute', and I was not particularly happy with it, but I could not think of another at that time. 'Negate' is not good, though, because it will be confused with the grammatical use of that word. Perhaps 'confirm or contradict' would be better.

Yes, if you would like to email me some material, I would be interested in seeing it.
