Direct speech and paragraphs.
Hello there. I need a little bit of advice here please?
I know we always start a new paragraph when a new person starts talking, but let's take the following scene where two people are talking...
"You heard Harry. It's a shitty little shop. It's not worth the land it stands on."
Kylem looked thoughtfully at the man who didn't know he was born.
"Okay. See this?" said Kylem, pointing at himself.
"Yeah?"
"This is it. Everything I have, you see here."
Kylem drew his hands up and down himself, indicating his attire. He was dirty, his clothes were tattered and torn, and he was bloody.
"There's nothing else. Nothing. Nada. Nil. Zilch. This is it. This is nothing. Yet today I am richer than I ever have been," and the kid smiled joyously.
Marco stared at the weird kid who was becoming weirder by the minute.
Should the red paragraph be one paragraph or two?
Similarly, the green paragraph--should this be more than one paragraph?
Any help would be appreciated.

There are no set rules. When publishing, the editor may decide the format. Lay it out in the way it is easiest for the reader to encompass.
