Direct Object Clause vs. Subject Clause

Specify the syntactic function of the embedded clause:

For you to win the competition would be essential to your club.

Direct Object Clause

Subject Clause

Prepositional Object Clause

Indirect Object Clause

I think it´s a Subject Clause, but someone said it´s a Direct Object Clause.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
