Direct address comma (is this example correct)?

Are commas used correctly in the following example? I am bothered about the amount of commas around "and" and "Joe".

"I have marked both your papers and have flagged up some important issues. Jack, your essay was a bit too overlong and wordy, and, Joe, there were grammar and spelling mistakes all over yours."
