Dim light

Are these 2 natural and would a native speaker say them?

I like a dim light when taking a bath.
I like dim lighting when taking a bath.

Are there degrees of dim or is light either dim or not?
Is this correct?

I like the light a tad dimmer when taking a bath.

Was this sentence correctly phrased and makes sense?

—> Are there degrees of dim or is a light either just dim or bright?

Thanks
