Dilemma

I've got 1 more question today. Would be really helpful if someone could answer it.

Is the structure if the next sentence correct, and can I use the word 'dilemma' instead of 'problem/ issue'.

"Besides, after having established the most appropriate collection of input variables, the dilemma regarding the lack of data for developing countries arises."

According to the definition it's not really appropriate to use dilemma. I'll change it. Thanks for the reply! Is the construction of the sentence correct?
