Hi
Can you use the word "digest" (of course figuratively) to say that you can't stand somebody?
Ex.: "I've never been able to digest my wife."

I would not suggest using "digest" in this way.

If you want to use something along those lines, it is possible you could use the verb form of stomach, but this is more often used when referring to putting up with unpleasant ideas. For example, "I just cannot stomach political conversations."
