DIG vs DIP and ON VS TO

Which would you use please?

1 Can we dip/dig into the overdraft further. It depends on how much of the overdraft we've already used up.

(Is the whole sentence ok? How would you say it?)

2 The bank was late in posting the debits to/on your account. It takes 3 days for the debits to appear on/in your account.

3 If you do it this way, it'll take 3 hours instead of 2 hours/rather than 2 hours. (How would you say this?)

thank you

  • ) I'm not sure how you are conceptualizing "overdraft".
  • An overdraft is not a specific amount of money, as I see it, but you seem to be using the word that way.
