Diffrence between present continuous and present perfect continuous tense

We all know that we can use present continuous for action that are happening at the moment and on the other hand also we can use present continuous for longer actions in duration, e.x.

I am sitting in a resturant and i am talking with a firend about myself and i say, i am reading peace and war for three days. Is this sentence correct? if yes so what is the diffrence between this sentence and I have been reading peace and war for three days? thank you in advance?
