Diffrence between noticing and seeing

Hi!

Could anyone tell me the difference between "noticing" and "seeing"?

Thank you!

The emphasis is different. "noticing" involves "coming to one's attention", "becoming aware of something". "seeing" involves only "perceiving by means of the eyes".

(Much of noticing coughing involves the ears as well as the eyes, so it's different from just seeing.)
