Difficulties recalling vs difficulties remembering

Dear All,

Which of the two would be better and why?

You probably might have difficulties recalling me but we met at a party held by Harris.
You probably might have difficulties remembering me but we met at a party held by Harris.

In my humble opinion, the first one can be said post factum. The other... might be used during the actual time when the meeting happens.

Although I suppose the word "meeting" isn't the most fortunate choice here...

Thanks

"Have difficulties" is wrong here; just use "remember":

"You might not remember me, but we met at Harris' party last year."

Alternately:

You may not remember me, but we met at Harris's party.
or
You may not remember me, but we met at one of Harris's parties.
(if Harris has many parties.)

the second would b more appropriate because the first one says a hiding factor that he forgets, the second one says it humbly as to u may not have noticed
