Hi,
So as I've mentioned in the topic, I'm having some difficulties reaching a C1 level. It is my dream to become an efficient, fluent English language user. I've been studying for about 4 years from a very low level.
Anyway - every day I spent at least 2 hours in some kind of learning activity - typical day starts at 6AM - I'm studying my course book (Michael Vince for C1), than I read some book. Then, during the day (often for about an hour or two) I usually watch some YT videos, or some movies / interviews or listen to podcasts. In the evening I learn all the new worlds and phrases that I've coke across during the day.
But with all this effort I still feel lost in all those things that I don't understand, don't know.
I've been practicing the above routine for about two months - I finished all the Gramma from Vince, I've read 3 books, have watched a bunch of stuff BUT - it feels like I'm in the same spot.
I'm about to give up. I don't have anyone to confide in so I guess I'm writing this thread in search for some motivation, or consolation.
If you been trough some similar struggle or you can give me any advice - please, do so.
I'm just a little depressed and I would love to get some other perspective.
Thanks in advance,
Kai
