Can 1 or 2 replace the underlined, or are they entirely wrong or different meanings?
1) seems to mean all the family members equally use various types of transporation. In 2, Can trasnporation never be pluralized?
ex) Andew's family use different types of transportation.
Her mother goes to work by bus, Her father goes to work by train.....
