Does 'Different strokes for different folks' originated from the 1978 American sitcom Different Strokes?
Originally 'stroke' was in reference to 'a movement', 'the manner of this movement' or 'a single mark make by a writing' (all definitions of stroke from dictionary)?
Thanks.
