I began photographing objects belonging to my mother. This work aims to focus on tiredness and frustration through a variety of objects that used to belong to her. They symbolise comfort and self-confidence. These objects such as the lipstick and the make up brush are now intact and full of dust and spoiled since their last use. The hairy comb and the worn-out bag with its deep black creases and the cleaning cloth becomes evocative and yet tell a story about an exhausted character, frustrated and drained.
