Can I say,

(i) The salesgirl showed many different shoes / showed different shoes to Alice. All the shoes were newly arrived.

After that, Alice left away the shop because she disliked the designs (of the shoes).

(ii) The salesgirl showed many different types of shoes. Alice tried the shoes. The shoes had many sizes and styles.
