Different kind of bills

Hi.what kind of bills do we have?I know we have water, credit card and cable bills. but what are the other bills?In my country we have electricity, gas, telephone, cell phone bills and they are delievered at every house or appartment. I heard utility bill. Do we have such a bill? what does it consist of? Thanks

In India, house-hold utility bills include;
Gas , water, electricity, and telephone bills are considered as utility bills.

Same here. Those are all "utility bills". We also have water bills and garbage bills and cable company bills (TV service). Any service you have delivered to you which you pay for on a regular basis (usually once a month) is "billed to you". You receive a monthly bill. Payments for permanent lodging are not called bills, however. For an apartment you "pay rent"; for a house that is mortgaged, you "pay the mortgage".
