Different between

What is the difference between gifted kids and talented kids

Top answer

My impression of the broad difference in usage over a fairly long lifetime as a native speaker is that gifted children are those with a high IQ with a flair for grasping academic subjects like science, mathematics, medicine and law, while talented children have special skills in more practical artistic and linguistic fields like music, the fine arts and languages. However, there's a great deal of crossover, and not everybody will agree with me. Let's wait and see.
