Different and differently

Please help me properly say this?
  1. When I play in a 10 dollar tournament, I play differently than I do in a 50 dollar tournament.
  2. I play differently when I play in a 10 dollar tournament than when I play in a 50 dollar one.
  3. I play in a 10 dollar tournament differently than I do in a 50 dollar one.

I would insert hyphens as shown above. I think you have inadvertently left them out.
