Differenciate the difference

Hi Friend,

Whats the difference between these 2 sentences. Is it the same meaning?

1) Besides desinging, I did all the implementation work.

2)I did all the implementation work besides designing.

Thank you,
Gary

Hello Gary I can't detect a difference; except that 'implementation work' has slightly more emphasis in #2 than in #1. By putting 'designing' at the front of the sentence in #1, you almost neutralise the 'besides'. But it's very close.

  • You may want to use '(the) design' instead of 'designing', or to specify exactly what you designed.
  • 'Designing' cries out for an object.
