Difference in meaning

What is the difference in using will and would in this sentence, because I can't see a real difference? Also, are both possible? Please advise.

Hi. As you are predicting an event in future, you have to use "will" . "Would" expresses some sort of hypothetical situations.

I believe that this is fairly natural, in speech at least. 'Or' has an implied idea of 'if this were not the case'.

Thank you. So are you suggesting that both 'will and would' are possible?

Is the use of will more staightforward and the use of would somewhat hypothetical as you have indicated due to 'or' that implies if this were not the case, which is hypothetical?

So you mean the better choice is 'will'? Is that because it is a straightforward fact in the future?
