Difference between two words and interpretation of a quote

Is there any distinct difference between the two words, ‘error’ and ‘mistake’? I came across to read a quote by John F. Kenneday – “An error doesn’t become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.” Please interpret this quote as well.

Dear Sir,

Thank you so much for the URL. But there is an error in the link. It should be 'https' instead of 'http'. Only then, the link will go to the appropriate page. When you forward it to others, please do the necessary correction.

With regards,

Ramanathan.

With so many countries sharing files, it isn't any wonder that the domains are being stretched to their limit. I copied and pasted the site address. If I again do this, I'll be sure to give a link as both http and https. My apologies.
