Difference between two sentence.

After monster frightened the girl, she ran away screaming.
The monster frightened the girl, and she ran away screaming.
What's the difference between these two sentences?

There is no difference, but you have to say "after the monster"(if the subject is known) or "after a monster"(if it's a random, unknown subject) in the first sentence.

There is no difference, but you have to say "after the monster"(if the subject is known) or "after a monster"(if it's a random, unknown subject) in the first sentence.

After the monster frightened the girl, she ran away screaming. (shows sequence of events)
The monster frightened the girl and she ran away screaming. (although logically in sequence, the second is not as obviously due to the first event)
