Difference between "that" and "which".

What is the difference in usage of the two words in the example sentenes below? Is there any subtle difference in meaning?

The food WHICH I eat every day.

"That" and "which" in the sample phases( not sentences as you mentioned) are relative pronoun. They can be used interchangeably when they represent the word "food". Moreover, "that" can be used to introduce noun clauses which(that) start with "that".
