please can you tell me why there is no difference ? i actually would use" so do i!" when i use present perfect i use that structure . for instance me; hey ,i have finished the assignment ! you; so have i! let`s do something else. i hope i am clear:)
You are not as clear as I am. With the verb 'have' as a main verb (that is, not as a part of a perfect aspect verb formation), both forms are used synonymously.
