Hi, You can sit in the shade but not in the shadow. A shadow is the 2-dimensional shape that an object projects onto ground that is devoid of (sun)light. The shade is the 3-dimensional space where the sun doesn't shine.

Hi,

You can sit in the shade but not in the shadow. A shadow is the 2-dimensional shape that an object projects onto ground that is devoid of (sun)light. The shade is the 3-dimensional space where the sun doesn't shine. For this very reason, one can never ''sit in the shadow.*''
