Can someone clarify me the difference between :

There's nothing to LOOK here
There's nothing to WATCH here

Can someone clarify me the difference between :

There's nothing to LOOK at here = see, cast a glance (notice)
There's nothing to WATCH here = as in see a movie (over some time)

look at / watch

When you look at something, you turn your head so you can see it. You see it for a little while and then you turn your head and don't see it anymore. You looked at it.

When you watch something, you continue to fix your eyes on it for a relatively long period of time, almost as if you are guarding it.
