Difference between 'possibility' and 'real possibility'

Wondering what's the difference between:

1) Yes, we will do that, if the auto-transfer feature is a possibility.

2) Yes, we will do that, if the auto-transfer feature is a real possibility.

In 1), does "is a possibility" = "can work"?

Possibility: may or may not happen. Closer to may happen than may not happen. Real possibility, even more likely to happen than a possibility.

I'm a bit confused... May I know is there a difference between 'option' and 'possibility'? 'Option' seems to sound like it's more definite...
