Difference between phonics and phonetics

Hi,

I'm pretty interested in teaching the above, thinking of taking up courses, but still unsure of certain things, so pls help.

My qtn is - What's the diff between these two?
2nd qtn - Would I be able to teach phonetics also, if I were to only receive a certification in teaching phonics? and vice versa?
