Difference between Oh my god! and Oh my gosh!

I just want to know difference between Oh my god! and Oh my gosh!
this words are used frequently.
as I know, christians doesn't use oh my god!
but I don't know exactly using of these words.
It's easy thing, but I want to know exact meaning.

Both are interjections, but practising belivers find the first offensive because it invokes the name of ***; i.e. it's regarded as blasphemy. If you don't want offend (regardless of your faith) say "oh my gosh", or "oh my goodness", or similar. Then of course you will get those who will still claim it's blasphemy because 'gosh' sounds similar to '***'...but I think most believers will appreciate y

Thank you for your answer. I wondered this many times. You're right. I have heard it can be regarded as a blasphemy . Even though some people is christian, they said,"oh, my ***!" So I was curious about it.

after all, I think it depends on people's mind who speak these words.

Please note that Christian is capitalized, as is the name of other religions.

Additionally, "***" (when used to refer to the single diety) is also capitalized. "A ***" (without a specific reference) is a common noun.

Most Christians I know do use "Oh my ***!" quite casually and commonly. However, I support the advice to say "Oh my goodness!" to ensure no one is offended.
