I wanted to know what are the differnce between Letter of Agreement (LOA), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Memorandum of Understading (MOU), Partnership Agreement or contract in legal term?

Memorandum of Agreement

The MOA can also be a legal document that is binding and hold the parties responsible to their commitment or just a partnership agreement.

Generally , most people use these two issues as one.

But as a more accurate view , MOU is the first step of mutual understanding between two parties and will include general points , while MOA will be generated when two parties review more details and are serious to start any action along with their agreement.

What are possible steps that can be taken if any of the partner doesnt obey the bindings? Is it possible to take the partner to court and redeem the loss due to now obeying the bindings?For e.g. - I plan to create a partnership - MOU with my friend for an investment purpose with 40-60 partnership.If my partner tries to sell the investment without my consent (if it is in his name, but part of MOU), and doesnt agree to pay back my share. Then can I take him to court?

I have entered into a moa and have realized that it will financially hurt me if the other party do not agree to amend the moa can I cancel it on them grounds.
