Difference between is and has been, on and about - phl

Hi Everyone,

Need help on the two(2) sentences below. I just want to know the difference between "is servicing" and "has been servicing". Can I use them interchangeably. And also about the "about the schedule" and "on the schedule". Thank you very much.

Atty. Smith took note and will invite the supplier that is servicing our company to brief everyone about the schedule.

You need "is servicing" if you've just recently hired the supplier to service your company or if you are about to hire the supplier quite soon. You need "has been servicing" if the supplier started servicing your company quite some time ago. Both "about the schedule" and "on the schedule" are acceptable in your sentence.
